General Enhancements

These updates are available with the 21.3.0 release of Knowledge Source.

Coach Question Response Time Frame Update

Updated the user response time frame to 30 days for an FinThrive answered Coach question. If a user attempts to reply to an answered Coach question beyond the 30 day threshold, the following alert message displays, advising the user to submit a new Coach question.

Note: The 30 days begins after the first time an FinThrive Compliance Expert responds to the initial Coach question.

Policies Page Updates

Updated the (LCD, NCD, DMERC) Policies results page so that the information is grouped by subject, allowing users to quickly identify policy details for the selected CPT/HCPCS code.

Future Replacement Code Additions

Added the following new fields to the Replacement Codes panel on the CPT/HCPCS Detail page.

  • Future Replacement Codes: Gives users the future code(s) to replace the deleted code.

  • Future Replacement Date: Gives users the future date that the code will be deleted.

CPT/HCPCS Detail Page Updates

1. AddOn Designation Panel

A new AddOn Designation panel is available on the CPT/HCPCS Detail page which alerts users to the add-on code type and designation description. Users should refer to the Coding Tips and Citations panel for additional guidance.

2. Medicare Preferred Code Panel Update

Updated the name of the Medicare Preferred Code panel to Medicare Preferred Code and See Also Codes. Added See Also Codes and comments fields to this panel.

LCD Informant Results in Advanced Search

Added LCD Informant results to Advanced Search.

  1. In the Advanced Search panel > Find field, enter an LCD term or code.

  2. In the Search In field, select Informants.

  3. Complete any information in Advanced Options and click Submit.

  4. The LCD results display in General Information > Informants collection.
